The purpose of CrossFit is to prepare you for anything life throws at you. It’s not about leaping buildings with a single bound or lifting a burning car off of a child. CrossFit prepares you for everyday life. It allows you to carry your groceries with ease, to play with your kids, to feel comfortable to explore other fun physical activities (rock climbing, flag football, hiking, etc.). CrossFit prepares you to be the fit mom or dad you always hoped you’d be or to be 70 years old, independent and active.

GETTING STARTED

We get it – CrossFit can seem intimidating and overwhelming! Plus, finding a program that speaks to you and your goals is hard and sticking with one is even more difficult.

Getting started with us for your CrossFit journey is custom designed with you in mind. You don’t know any one, some people look very fit and lots of the movements are things you may not have seen before. We understand exactly how you feel and we want to bring you into our gym in a way that makes you feel confident, excited and stress free.

STEP 1

Consultation & Assessment

We start with a consultation/assessment session to determine your skill level. This helps us understand your fitness goals and current level so we can tailor the program to you.

STEP 2

Movement Introduction

In the second session, we introduce you to foundational movements such as squats, pull-ups, pushups, gymnastic movements, Olympic lifts (clean and jerk, snatch), and other bar lifts. This ensures you're comfortable with the exercises you'll encounter in class.

STEP 3

Safety & Familiarization

Our primary goal is your safety. We teach proper movements to help you stay injury-free and work around any limitations or previous injuries. By the time you join your first class, you'll be familiar with the movements, allowing you to focus on your workout and have fun!
