A) One length each:
High Knees
Butt Kicks
Bear Crawl

1/2 length Spider-Man crawl
1/2 length Duck Walk
Burgener/Thacker warm up

B) Take 15 minutes to build to today’s heavy Snatch.

C) Take 15 minutes to build to today’s heavy Clean and Jerk

D) 3 rounds for time:
30 Russian KB Swings @ 70#/53#
50 Double Unders

  1. Was a bit tired after yesterday (power lifting routine mixed with oly), heavy bench and snatch work including sots presses. Knees feel good, mobility is coming along, speed as well. Also managed 4 position snatches with 185# (sequence was from the floor, 2″ off floor, above knees, high hang).
    Did a warm-up, not doing handstand walks currently, but I’m thinking about taking a course at Salto.
    B) was pleasantly surprised that all snatches went up easy and form felt dialed in: 135, 150, 185, 200, 210, 225. Felt good enough to try 230, just couldn’t get locked out, but I think 235 is close.
    C) didn’t have a ton of time so I did them quick (<5min), 135, 185, 225, 245, and called it as I really wanted to see how double unders were going to feel on my achilles.
    D) was nervous, and with time constraints just did 1round, 2pood kb and managed a 1:55 round. Didn't want to go for more since I hadn't done DU's in a loooooong time. Couldn't string more than 20, bit disappointing.
